When People Don't Know God

John 16:3, "And they will do this because they have not known the Father or Me. [Amplified Bible ]

There are many things that people do when they don't know God, but one of the most common mistakes they do is doing wrong things thinking they are doing God a service.
Jesus told His disciples, "A time will come when whoever KILLS YOU will think they are doing God a service".
But the moment you understand the nature of God, you will KNOW what God would rather be done. David had numerous opportunities to kill King Saul, but he made a sober decision not to touch a person that the LORD had once anointed. It didn't matter whether God had now rejected him, what mattered to David was that God hand once placed His hand upon the man.

A man was requested by King Saul to finish him off after he attempted to kill himself and failed. The man did it and ran to inform David thinking that David will be very happy and give him an award. But David had the knowledge of Christ, and instead of awarding him, he killed him for touching the LORD'S anointed.
Many of the people who fight men of God, whether they have fallen or they are still standing, do so thinking that they are doing God a favor, and they do so because they lack knowledge. But the knowledge of Christ will tell you that the gifts of God are without repentance.
God knows the end before the beginning has even commenced. He therefore cannot go back on a word He has spoken or a gift He has given, because he knew what would happen even before it happened. He knows where you will end if you follow the right path and where you will end if you follow the wrong path.

Therefore, if you once perceived the anointing of God upon a person, you need to either continue respecting them as the anointed or keep away from them lest you fall into the temptation of becoming the firewood that is fanningbthe fire burning them up.
I keep saying this and I hope someone gets it, God will always look for firewood for the fire that He uses to refine His precious vessels. But you can refuse to be the firewood, because by wisdom you know that firewood burns to ashes but the man of God will come out refined. So, while the man you are burning is being refined, you as the wood will be continually reduced to ashes.

I don't negate the fact that what you are saying is the truth and you feel obligated to bring it to the open, but it will most certainly be to your demise.
Many people are ashes walking, because they have made it their responsibility to "help God" punish His errant sons!! They feel good saying who should be stoned to death, who should be hanged and who should not even dare talk on behalf of God. Of course you cannot shut them up, because they believe they are doing God a favor. Even right now, I know I will receive a lot of criticism from them for this message... Oh, sorry they may not react because I just told them, but they will feel a certain itch and burn, wishing they tell me what they really believe and feel is their responsibility.
I love and apply what Gamaliel said about Jesus' disciples and their frequent frogging and persecution, Let them be, if what they are doing is from God, then it will survive the test of time. But if it is not from God, it will die a natural death.

Every time I see people fall upon a man of God and put their coats at the feet of Paul so that they may through the stones better, this is what I do, I will not throw a stone. I let God deal with His sons Himself. He is well able to punish them without involving me.
A man of God I respected very much, lured a lady I ONCE loved lady to marry into a room and they did what they did. At first I felt like facing him, then I said "No, I will let him be". But I said not, "let me at least write him a text or a mail to tell him I know it. The lady confessed!" But, the Holy Spirit told me, "No, if you want the best out of this, let it go completely, not even a word." It was tough, but I did it. Up to date not even a word, and we meet and talk, laugh and are happy... all three of us. Call me a fool if you want, but what befell them, I wouldn't wish on even my worst enemy. God's disciplining is always the best.
This is only achieved IF AND ONLY IF, you KNOW God, people who don't know God are the ones that would rather avenge themselves, because they think they will do it better than God.

If a man of God, took something from you, don't go fighting Him, let His Father discipline him Himself. Do this, not because you can't deal with him, but because you know God. Men of God, who know God, are actually happier when people decide to punish them, because they know that by so doing they are actually saving them from God's personally applied punishment. This is why many people ask, "Why is God still using Nesh, even after all the stories going around about him?" Let me educate you, by you spreading stories about him, you have already punished him and after punishment a child is pulled to his father for consolation and told never to do that again, and he is set back to service.

A neighbour that disciplines his neighbour's child will only give the child a few canes, lest people say he beat the child without mercy, but however much a parent canes the child, people will still expect the parental instincts to kick in and set the limit. Therefore, if a neighbor decides to punish a child, it will always be a little bit too little a punishment. When we were young we always wanted to be punished by our aunties, because they would just do it a little, so it is also with those who know God. They would rather people talk all they want about then and let God console them, than be punished by God and people console them.... Those... who... know... God. Those who don't know God, think the opposite is better.

The Power Of Your Sense Of Smell

Job 14:7-9, "For there is hope of a tree, if it  be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the  tender branch thereof will not cease. Though  the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the  stock thereof die in the ground; Yet through the  scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs  like a plant." (KJV) 

I have mentioned this in the past, but because my audience keeps growing, sometimes I have to repeat something I said, because when I said it, they may be were not there or they were not listening. Yeah, some people don't listen, almost every day I receive a message that says, "Wow! I have just thought of reading what you send, and I can't believe I have been ignoring this!"

So, We discussed what "Backsliding" really is and what being "born again" is and lastly what "falling away" is. 

These are three terms that I think Christians should be taught and be made to understand. 

Being born again as the name suggests is equivalent to birth. There is conception, gestation, labour and birth. Many people think that all this did not happen because they just went and before they knew it they were saying, "Lord Jesus, forgive me of my sins... "

But for you to get saved, you will always have to be conceived, carried in the womb, there must be the pain of labour and birth. Conception is the conviction; you must be convinced that you are a sinner and be aware that you are bound for judgement and he'll if you don't do something. The gestation period is the moment between realization of this and deciding what ought to be done. The labour is in deciding how to do it;  some churches demand you come to the front, raise your hand if you want to be saved, or just silently say the prayer after the preacher wherever you are. This is one of the most difficult times and everybody who ever got saved will tell you so. The birth is finally accepting Jesus, by believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth. 

What is "backsliding"? Many people confuse backsliding with falling away from faith. Backsliding is laxing in issues of faith. For instance, if you were praying three times a day, you start doing it once a day, you have backslidden. If you used to go to church everyday, but then you start going once a week, you have backslidden.  Note that, you are not stopping because of circumstances, you are not doing this because you are forced to, you just stop feeling enthusiastic about it. The zeal that consumed you once died, you don't feel the need anymore, that is backsliding. 

"Falling away" from faith is very different from backsliding. This is a complete REVERSAL of what went on when you were being born again. 

Being born again is dying from sin, falling away is dying from righteousness. Just like being born again is believing that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and confessing it with your mouth and you are baptised into salvation, So it is also with falling away, in that you believe that Jesus IS NOT is neither Christ nor the son of God, confess it with your mouth and you are "baptized" into a sinful life. 

This is why Paul says to the Hebrews, "For  it is  impossible for those who were once enlightened,  and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were  made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have  tasted the good word of God, and the powers of  the world to come, If they shall fall away, to  renew them again unto repentance; seeing they  crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and  put him to an open shame." (Heb 6:4-6)

Now, people confuse backsliding and falling away, and think that if you have backslidden, then, "it is impossible for you to be born again, again". This also bring confusion, because you can never be born again, again.

Just like when you are born to the world, you are born once, so it is also in matters of faith. You can only be born again once! 

If you have backslidden and you would want to come back to Christ, that is not called being born again, it is called "Renewing your faith", just like people renew their marriage vows after some time. 

And you can renew your vows even without necessarily having backslidden. 

But if you fall away from faith, it is IMPOSSIBLE for you to come back, because it will be like crucifying Jesus a second time. 

The devil has killed so many with guilt. Just because they erred once, the devil tells them that they cannot come back because they will be crucifying Jesus a second time. Which is not true, it is a misquote of the scripture. He is making you carry a burden that is not yours. The burden of the impossibility to come back is not for a backslider, but for one that that was

1. Once enlightened

2. Tasted the heavenly gifts

3. Made partakers of the Holy Ghost

4. Tasted the good word of the LORD

5. Tasted of the powers of the world to come

but still decided to FORFEIT this and go back to serving the devil. 

In a few words, this is a burden for a person that had been given all by God, but still disdained Him. 

Some people get saved for three days and after falling prey to the first temptation the devil slaps them with this scripture, telling them it is impossible for them to come back. 

Job is the oldest book in the bible. 

Telling us that from the beginning God had arranged that there is hope as long as your sense of smell can still mark the place where the water is, even if you are cut you can still sprout and bud again. 

Listen to this, Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Faith is kept by tasting; in this kingdom, when you taste instead of feeling you see. David says, "Taste and see that the LORD  is good". Tasting the word of God, enlightens your eyes to see! But some times, you may feel like you are cut off, like you don't belong with God anymore, and that is the time to use your sense of smell to resuscitate yourself back to life!!!  Hallelujah! 

When God formed Adam, the bible says he did not become a living being until God breathed INTO HIS NOSTRILS!! Remember Adam was created in Genesis one, He was formed in Genesis 2, but he had to activate his sense of smell to become a living being! 

Most people have been convinced that they have fallen away, because they don't hivyo church anymore, because they slept with the choir girl once, because they fell into temptation the other day, but the million dollar question is, "Can you smell Jesus Christ who is the living water?"

Solomon says in Ecclesiastes 4:9, that as long as you are alive, there is hope, because a living dog is better than a dead lion.

If you can still smell the scent of water, then you can bud again. Do not allow the devil to keep you away from God because you backslid. Yes, you cannot be born again, again, but you can renew your faith and your vows to God anytime you want, whether you have backslidden or not. For His mercies are new every morning! Why do you think God renews His mercies every morning?? It is for the sake of those who are renewing their faith and vows to Him every morning!

This morning I came to tell someone, You haven't fallen away, you just backslid, come back home, your Father is waiting for you. CAN YOU FEEL THE SCENT? IS YOUR SENSE IF SMELL OK? Then don't jail yourself together with those whose sense of smell died!

The Hunger And The Thirst

Matthew 6:6, "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled." (KJV)

What is righteousness?
Righteousness is a state of justification, it is proving to have passed all the processes of being right with God. It is only one step away from glorification.
There is predestination, the calling, justification and glorification.
Everybody thatched born is predestined to do something and in them they have "a calling" to do it.

A calling is a divine backing or reinforcement. Every time you decide to do what you were called to do, there is an anointing to perform it that cannot be denied.
Predestination as I talked of it some time back, is the fact that God has already decided what you ought to do. For instance, whoever makes a TV expects it to have audio and visual abilities, that is the predestination of a TV. Whoever makes a radio, only expects it to carry the audio functions of the waves, that is the predestination of a radio. Your predestination is your functionability. Your predestination is hidden in your specifications.

The predestination of Samson was in his strength. The predestination of Jesus was in His mercy. The predestination of Moses was in his anger. The predestination of David was in his worship. The predestination of Daniel was in his prayer life, and so on and so forth.
After predestination, we have the calling. The calling is a divine reinforcement. This is why, if anybodyvtries to do what they were not predestined to do, they struggle a lot, because they are doing something that they do not have a divine backing in. This is not to say that it will not prevail, but it is to say that they will use a little more energy to achieve it.
It is possible to marry a person that was not meant for you and still be happy, but it will cost you a little bit more than if you had married the person meant for you.
People ask me, "Can a saved person work in a bar?" Yes they can, but they will be doing what they were not destined to do, therefore they will struggle more than if they were working outside a liquor bar.

After the calling there is justification. Justification is based on righteousness. It is one thing to work in your calling, it is yet another very different thing to work in it righteously.
Jesus said, "Some will come and say, 'we did miracles in your name, we even cast out demons in your name', but I will tell them get thee away from me, ye sons of iniquity. God to the devil your father!"
The thing that will disqualify these guys from being told "Come by my side oh yeah faithful servants", is justification.

They were predestined, and they operated in the calling BUT they did not do it righteously, hence, they were not justified. They did not do it right with God.
And so they will not reach the next stage which is glorification. Glorification is only for those who are justified.
Glorification is in two phases, here on earth - which we call vindication, and beyond the grave which I call the induction.
Vindication is where everybody all along thought you were wrong, only to find out later that you were right. Vindication is when your fruits come out and everybody say, "Wow! I thought this guy was a lemon, never knew he was an orange!" Vindication is when things, in this your life, not in heaven, here on earth, finally start to fall in place. Vindication is when your struggles, finally start to be history and people start using you as an example of "those whom the LORD has favoured".

Induction is what we all await beyond the grave. The welcoming if the sons into their Father's kingdom. Where we shall join Jesus in reigning. Where all we had and should have had on earth shall be nothing compared to what we shall have then. Things that no ear has heard and no eye has seen are what that are in store for those who believe.
Let us step back to justification, it is our main focus for today.
Many people want glorification before justification, it cannot happen.
Many people are in their calling and they may even be doing quite well in it but they will fail in the justification and hence not qualify for the glorification.
In the kingdom of God, it is not just a matter of being, but being in Him. You have to have the ability to say, "In Him I live, move and have my being (Acts 17:28)"
I was reading about David yesternight and how he brought in the ark of of the covenant into Jerusalem. The Bible says that after every six steps, he would stop, create an altar and make a sacrifice unto God and worship.
Imagine that!!

After every six steps!
We want to hurry up and do "what we were called to do", but we forget that we must do it not as we want but as God the author of it wants. This means that after every six steps, we need to stop and ask from Him if we are still on the right track. Number six is the number of human weaknesses, the number of the flesh.
This means that every time you do something and your flesh starts to congratulate you, you need to stop, offer a sacrifice and ask God if you are still moving as He wanted from the beginning.

Every time you preach over and over again, and the flesh; which by the way is a combination of your thoughts and the opinions of people start to tell you how good you have become at it, it is time to stop, build an altar, make a sacrifice, worship God and inquire more direction from God.
We have talked about prayer and Fasting... right? Well, when everything is praising you and your service, that could be the best time to decide to go into prayer and fasting. What for??? To stop, build an altar, sacrifice and worship.
In our lead scripture today, Jesus tells His audience that "blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled".

Have you ever noticed that except for the night when we are sleeping, we normally eat after every six hours? After breakfast, count six hours and you will be hungry again, after lunch, count six hours and you will be needing some supper.
Number six represents a time when human weakness kicks in. It is a cycle of sorts. This is why even after every six days, the seventh should be used to seek God and worship Him.
It is called the Hunger and thirst for righteousness! If hunger shall kick in every six hours, andcwhen you sit to eat, a balanced meal include some water, the same it is with righteousness.

You need to learn to count your six!
You need to be sensitive enough to know when your six is up!
Learn to know when your hunger and thirst kicks in. If you notice that you neither feel hungry nor thirsty ... I am sorry but, then, you must be dead. LET'S COUNT OUR SIX.

Qualified For A Lifting

James 4:10, "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up." (KJV)

Everybody in the world is looking for a lifting, it is an inbuilt need in every human being to desire an uplift. But the things is that many people do not qualify for an uplift, because they think they come with an attitude of I DESERVE IT.
I have an opportunity of listening to people who say they gave to God and God did not give them back. And after listening to them all I hear is, "I deserved to be treated better".
I read from facebook of a person who was complaining how they served God, but believed that God was unfair to them. Some people serve God, but they view Him as a cruel boss, who makes you work too much and pays you peanuts and all this boils down to going before God with a mindset that tests what God has done, against what you think you have done for Him.

This lady served God, waited on God for a spouse, she got married to a man that loves her to the moon and back, tried to get pregnant and miscarried a few times, was told to wait a bit before trying again, in the meantime her husband was diagnosed with a terminal sickness that claimed his life eventually. She believes God was not fair, she believes she prayed and fasted, but according to her words, "God DECIDED not to hear her".
In this kingdom, the only way up, is the way down; If you want to increase, you must decrease. Jesus said, "whoever wants to be the greatest amongst you, must be the least amongst you. I can tell you the greatest of a man in the kingdom, just by looking at his attitude towards service.

I had a brother friend who believed he was so anointed and deserved to be treated with respect even by people who did not know him. Yes, he talked how he wanted to who he wanted because he was anointed and deserved better. Another sister in college started a war against men, telling women they were anointed enough to deserve better and they should treat men in a way to demand respect. By the time she was finishing her course, she was running after young boys (college freshers) telling them, "God told me in a vision that you are mine".

Every moment you start comparing what you do for God against what you think He should do for you, you are setting yourself up for a disappointment and a disappointing life.
I am not saying that you should not have faith, no! There is a difference between FAITH and PRIDE. PRIDE believes it deserves better, FAITH believes it better deserve.
In other words, pride demands payment, faith on the other hand says, "how I wish I deserve this"... but because I don't deserve I can only lean on faith.
Let me show you one instance of pride that people do not see. When you hear a person say, "according to how I have given this year, God must come through for me". Or when something good happens in their life, they want to tag it as a payment for their good service.

By so doing, the people who hear their testimonies, enter into a frenzy wanting to do what they heard they did so thatctgey can expect the same result. And they come back frustrated, because God does not work that way.
In God's mode of operation, it is the humble that qualify for an uplifting. Whenever a person asks me, "Why did this happen to me yet I did this and this for God?" I usually tell them a jargon that is usually said in Nairobi's market place, "Haukufika bei (You did not meet the price)".
If you think that what you do for God is enough to buy you riches, promotion, good health, longer days on earth, a good spouse, great children, a car, a house, a good life, etc... think twice because even the richest man in the world, "hafiki bei (doesn't meet the price).
I was listening to an interview of one of the richest men in Kenya, and when he was asked of his greatest achievement in life, he said, HUMILITY, he said, "What I am more grateful for, more than anything else in life, that I have achieved in all my years is that I have learnt to be humble".

Then I sighed and said, "No wonder this guy is amongst the richest guys in Kenya!"
If you want God to bless you beyond your imagination, stop trying to compare whether you do for Him with what He does for you and equating them, if you will need to compare, let it then be that you will see what you do like nothing before God.
If someone tells you, "Wow! I see your great giving to pastor Nesh's ministry has made God give you a car!" Tell them, "Shut up! What I give does not even qualify me to receive pin from God". And it must come from the heart, not from the mouth while the heart is saying, "Yeah! You better recognize".

I hear people calling themselves "Prayer worriors", Wow! Can I tell you something, from the depth of my heart, never come to me because you think I am a prayer warrior, because I am not. I am just a guy that speaks to God, I am not a champion at speaking to God.
There is something that has been planted in our minds, like we are in an exchange program with God. Where you give God this, He gives you this other thing. And it has become so bad that we think God should much what we do. If you give tithe for a whole year, you then sit down with a calculator and a pen and see if God kept His side of the deal. And if we think he didn't, we start thinking twice about our engagements with Him. but if He has, then we prepare "a testimony".

Some of these things we call testimonies are not actually testimonies. They give more praise to human beings than to God. They only make God like a good boss who paid the salaries on time!
That is not a testimony!
A testimony humbles the human and reveals a God who did more than the human deserved. A testimony displays to us a God who does exceedingly, abundantly above what the human thought or imagined!
Such a heart that approaches God in this way, is qualified for a promotion and an uplift.
I told you people lose their money in church... don't lose yours. I want to raise a blessed generation. And God allowing, I want to train all those who sit under my tutorship to shift their mind from believing they deserve, to deserving to believe... that is humility.

The Company

2 Chronicles 20:37, "Then Eliezer son of Dodavahu of Mareshah prophesied against Jehoshaphat, saying, Because you have joined Ahaziah, the Lord will destroy your works. So the ships were wrecked and unable to go to Tarshish." [Amplified bible]

Bad company corrupts good morals, and like we have seen in our lead scripture today, bad company also leads to the destruction of the good works you may have done.
The Bible warns us not to neglect unequally yoked with non-believers.
This in not to mean that we will not relate or socialize, no, it speaks about committing yourself to a union that may lead to a certain proposed achievements.
Christianity is one of the MOST EXCLUSIVE religions and also one of the MOST INCLUSIVE religions too. It therefore requires a lot of wisdom to balance its inclusivity and its exclusivity.

One example of its exclusivity is that, there is only one God, this means and makes all other gods idols or nothing. If we are not talking about Jehovah, then we are not talking about the real God. Some people try to massage others by tellingvthem that, "no, we may be talking about the same God but using different names for them", that is not Christianity.
Another exclusivity is that if you are not a Christian, if you have not accepted Jesus as your LORD and Savior, then you can be sure you are headed to a very fiery place called hell. There is no two way about it. And talking about ways, another exclusivity is that Jesus said, "I am the way of truth that leads to life, NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT by me". This excludes any other means you may think of!
It is inclusive in that anybody and everybody is welcome! You can enter, study it and preach it in any language. Some religions demand that you must sit down and be taught a certain specific language, but in Christianity, you don't need to know Jesus' mother tongue to qualify for anything.

In Christianity, as long as you are born again, you are a saint and you can become anything you want in the kingdom, regardless of your background, education, or occupation, in some religions, there are classes and demarcation between classes of people and what they can do or achieve.
In Christianity, just by being born again, you become a child of God which means that by extension you become a god. In other religions it is a offense punishable by death to even think or say that God has a child let alone claiming to be one of them. In other religions, if you call yourself a god, you are branded either crazy or blasphemous.
But this is who we are!

We are gods, and gods do not marry humans, they marry gods. This is why Israelites were encouraged to only marry within Israel. Not because there were no beautiful girls outside Israel, but because God had already said, "Israel is my son".
We watch movies and think it is funny, sometimes unfair, when two kings "force" their children to marry from royal families. But that is the exclusivity of royalty. A prince was always expected to marry a princess. And you had to have special qualities like Cinderella, for you to qualify to marry a prince when you are not royalty.
When we are born again, we are adopted into royalty. We are expected to learn the etiquette of the high and mighty. There are some things that you can't speak or say when you are born again!

You cannot say, "I can't do this", because you are more than a conqueror! You cannot say, "I am sick ", because by the stripes of Jesus you were healed! You cannot say, "poor me", because Jesus became poor so that you may be rich! You cannot say, "I am tired", that would be insulting Jesus who came to give you rest! You cannot say, "I am cursed", because Messiah (which means the anointed, the blessed) is in you and youvin Him! You cannot say, "I am bewitched", because God has sworn that no witchcraft or divination can work against you. You cannot say, "I fear their arsenal", because No weapon formed against you can prosper!

These and many more are things you are taught in the kingdom. They are called the etiquette, or kingly table manners. How to walk and talk. How to frame your words, how to address people and what to wear for what occasion.
God has placed earthly kings around us, so that we may learn from them as pertains to spiritual kings, kingdom and kingship. I tell you the truth, whatever you see the earthly princes and princesses enjoying physically, is your portion in the spiritual realm. And you have the ability within you to convert your spiritual status to your physical status.
This is why, you cannot associate or be a companion to a person that thinks otherwise of you. You cannot keep company with people who think you live in the clouds. When David was about to kill Goliath, the Bible says that when his brothers heard the question he was asking, they rebuked him. But he moved away from them, went to another group and asked THE SAME QUESTION. And he was given the same answer and brought before the king.
When Joseph started dreaming big and confessing big things, his brethren thought he was just but a proud, arrogant brat. God had to separate him from them and take him to people who would believe in him.

I came this morning to tell you that, you may need to be separated from those who can't see your dream come true, to be enjoined with people that believe you are anointed!
Joseph may have been a slave to portiphar, but the Bible says that Portiphar realized that he had a certain favor and whatever he touched prospered! So he left him in charge of everything in his house, exceptcthe wife. Joseph may have been a prisoner, but the Bible says that, the warden saw that there was favour upon him, and so, he made him in charge of all other prisoners.

Some of you receiving these broadcasts are in the Middle East, away from your relatives and away from Christianity sometimes, I came to encourage you to seek why God separated you from your "loved ones". Some of you have children back at home, if you will not know why God separated you, then all these lonely nights you have and lonely days you spend will be in vain. Some of youvthink you went there to make money, but God will prove you wrong. You may find out that whatever you send home to be kept safe is being misused and you will come back to nothing. I am sorry, but this may just be God telling you, that His purpose to separate you, was not for you to amass money in bank accounts!
Many come back and are in tears, a lady came back to find all the money she sent to her mother was no where to be seen. But when you understand the reason for your separation, you will understand the status of your elevation.

I have come to understand that, every time you try being comfortable where God didn't intend you to dwell, there will always be a nasty shake up. If my family was as good to me as I wanted them to be, most probably I wouldn't be preaching to you as I am. But God brought a shake up, and from all that rejection, He converted me into an injection, do that whoever comes close to me shall receive a jab, that might heal them.

Believe In Me

2 Chronicles 20:20, "...Believe in the Lord your God and you shall be established; believe and remain steadfast to His prophets and you shall prosper."

As a musician and a music producer, and in my movement from one school, college and university to another speaking to young people, I have had an opportunity to meet to many people who believe they have at least one thing that is so outstanding that if it was brought out, it would change the world and more so their lives.
Yes, this is something I have to deal with almost everyday. A person with come and sing to you or for you a song, you as a producer can tell it doesn't have what it takes, but they will tell you, "if only someone can believe in me and help me produce this song! It would be a hit, bring in money, I will pay them back, pay my bills, buy myself stuff, etc, etc". Sometimes, I look at them and tell myself, "O Lord, this is where I was in 1998. When I first went to my dad with my first 12 songs, wishing, praying and hoping he could believe in me"
The hope of every person that has a vision but no RESOURCES is this: that they will meet a person that believes in them.

And believe you me, God also needs HUMAN RESOURCE to execute what He wants in earth. God is a Spirit and spirits cannot work on earth in anything unless they inhabit a body of a human. This is why even the devil has to get a host for him to make any progress as pertains to his kingdom.
And what we see Jehoshaphat telling the people of Judah in the valley of Tekoah, the way He ends that statement is God's need for someone *to believe in Him*, just like these people I meet with talent but no resources.
This is the same need Jesus cited when He said, "The harvest is plenty and ripe, but the labourers are few. This is God telling us, "Believe in me."
Believing in God, *brings establishment*, affirmation and confirmation, Ordination and coronation.

Believing in the prophet, brings prosperity into what God has established you in, affirmed you in and confirmed you in, ordained you in and coronated you in.
How do you show that you believe in a person?
Simple!  By investing in their dream.
If I meet a promising artist, the first thing I do is draft a contract with them. In the contract, I promise to invest in them and in return I get my percent cut from the profits we make and also RECOVER my investment.

This is the same thing God wants you to do with Him. Many people claim to believe in God, but they are not willing to invest anything in God, and there is no existing contract between them and God. They do not have a plan to RECOVER what they invested (of course they invested Nothing) and so they do things for God like volunteers.
Peter asked a question that we should all ask God, "We have left all and followed you, what shall we get in return?" Many people fear asking God that question. And because of that, they live a poor, shaky, dilapidated (not established) life. They have nothing to challenge God with!

When I got saved, death to me was as real as the air I am breathing. No, I was not sick. But I had lived a reckless life, I had tasted all I needed to taste, but I reached a point and I felt without a shadow of doubt that my days on earth had come to an end. I had been raised in church, my father being a pastor, since I gained knowledge. Actually, I think he got saved around the year I was born, so, I practically was born to a born again man (I am not sure, I will confirm, hahahaha). So, I knew that if I died in my state, I was going directly to a place called hell, where suffering had no end neither escape, forever and ever.
And I had heard men of God my father being one ofvthem preach saying, "believe in God and you will no pain no more!"

So,  I chose to believe in God, I drafted my contract, in which I stated that I would invest my life in Him and get my percentage on our returns.
He told me, "you shall surely get your percentage from our profits, and in the end, you shall REVOVER your life, your investment, by receiving eternal life!"
This is what I say, believing in a man of God is not shown by shouting the loudest "Amen", believingvin a man of God is shown *BY PUTTING YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS!* Yes! And I can tell you for sure that I know those who believe in me, or I can tell you that they are daily revealed to me.

Jesus said, "If God will not punish this generation, then He owes an apology to Sodom and Gomorrah!" I tell you for sure, you are at a better place to believe in a man of God than generations passed. Part generations could say, there in no man in my country for me to believe in, if I knew another and got a way to support them even if they are abroad I would. Nowadays, the world is has been made a small village. You can send things and funds from anywhere, you can support men of God from one end of the world to another.
The BEST question you can ask a man of God is, "How can I invest in your ministry?" Because the best way to invest in God is by investing in His men.
This is why Jehoshaphat in the wisdom of God, could not separate believing in God from believing His prophet.

You believe in God by believing His prophet!
You show your believe in God, by investing in His prophet! Believing in God makes you steadfast and unshakeable, believing in His prophet makes you prosper!
God does not work with volunteers, and this is what is causing people a lot of pain. The Bible says that Those who come to God, MUST BELIEVE THAT HE US A REWARDER OF THEM THAT SEEK HIM DILLIGENTLY. Don't come to God like you are coming to help Him. When I meet a promising artist, and they cry to me, "Please help me", I look them in the face and tell them, "I AM NOT HELPING YOU, I am here to make money from you". There is a spirit of a lion of Judah in us and also a spirit of the lamb of God in us, we must be both as wise as a serpent and as calm as a dove! If God did not promise you anything when you got born again, then He owes you nothing! God is a keeper of promises. He is not a man to lie or a son of man to change His mind! The Best way to deal with God, is always living IN HIS PROMISES. I make God make a new promise every day, because He will keep it. His promises are yeah, and in Him amen.

Those who have tried this know it works. Recently I needed some money, I approached a brother for a soft loan. He told me man of God, "I can't give you a loan, instead, I will give the money to you, don't pay me back". That same evening, he called me very exited to tell me that the same amount he gave me was given to him by a friend who called just to tell him, "Thank you for being a good friend!"
I have to pause this here... not because I am done, but because sweet thing are eaten in small bit lest you suffer from cavity and bitter medicine is also in the smallest of droplets and tablets, lest you fail to finish the dose. This message shall be sweetcto some and very bitter to others, whichever side of the divide you are in...

When It Depends On You

Romans 12:18, "If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone."*[Amplified Bible]

May the peace that surpasses all human understanding rule over you this morning, this day and in days to come.
Peace is dependant on two things, possibility and who it depends on.
One of the reasons why you may not have peace with some people is because it is their decision not to be at peace with you. And no matter how you try, it has become impossible to be at peace with them. When such a case arises, what you are needed to do is to shrug you shoulders and softly say, "suit Yourself".

If you understood the kind of power you carry with you and the kind of protection you have around you, you would refrain as much as possible from fighting back anybody. But most of the times we fight out of fear not our of courage and confidence in our God. And by so doing we act like a serpent, and we all know who the serpent is. And the children of the serpent are serpents.

A snake does not bite because it is very courageous, a snake bites because of fear. Because it knows that there is already a curse in place between it and the seed of Adam. That, meeting the seed of Adam will most probably lead to one thing, its head being crashed.
The devil does not fight you because he is strong and courageous, the devil actually does not fight you, the devil strikes and waits for you to drop dead.

But Jesus said, "Those who believe and are baptised shall be saved, and these signs shall follow those who believe... they shall pick up serpents... "
There are two levels of believing, there is believing unto salvation and believing for signs and wonders to follow you. Many people have believed unto salvation, but they do not go into the next step of believing unto having signs and wonders as followers.
There are four things that should follow every believer; goodness, mercy, signs and wonders.

Now, goodness is what we are talking about today, when we say that as much as it depends on you, you should live peaceably with every person and if it is possible. God knows that some people are just impossible to live at peace with. There are some people who no matter what you do, you may never be able to live at peace with them.
And youvwill always have these people with you. They are set there by God so that God throughvthem may show Himself strong on your behalf. The mistake we do is that we want to fight them ourselves!

Whereas, they are there so that God can shew Himself strong ON YOUR BEHALF! They are not there for you to fight them they are there to watch as you eat from the table God sets up for you, they are there as spectators.
Anybody that wants to live at peace with you, qualifies themselves to sit with you at the table the LORD sets up for you. And this is the same reason why you should live at peace with others because, by so doing, you also qualifies yourself to sit with them at the table that the LORD prepares for them before their enemies.

Any person you deliberately choose not to live at peace with, you actually sign an agreement to be a spectator when God blesses them! Any person that chooses, no matter how you try, not to be at peace with you, are signing up to spectate as you enjoy the table set for you before your enemies.
Their work will be to comment and commentate. If you watch games, you will understand what I am talking about. There will always be people who will criticise and analyse the game after it is played and commentate when it is being played. They always know how, where and who should have scored. They even know who the coach should fire or substitute. But that is about the much they can do. A good player will enjoy the game regardless.
The people who are happy during and after the game are those who choose to support the players regardless of the scores. The rest are left to watch as the team and the friends of the team (called fans), celebrate.

The more people you live at peace with, the more the tables you have to sit at. Everyday there is a person being immensely blessed. Everyday there is a person that will be celebrating. Now, if you are friendly, you may actually be in a celebratory mood all through. Imagine if you have 365 people you have decided to live peaceably with. And God decides that each of them will celebrate, each day of the year. Then it means that you will be in party mood all through the year.
Look at this, IT IS NOT YOU WHO IS BEING BLESSED, it is those that you have decided to live peaceably with that are being blessed, but because you have bought a ticket to their table, YOU PRACTICALLY DON'T EVEN MISS BEING BLESSED!
Seriously, I have discovered that when my sons are blessed, I don't miss being blessed. All I hear are notifications on my phone! But if they are going through a dry season .... sometimes I even wonder why I have a phone ... and keep wondering where my blessing got stuck.

I may want to go on and on, but I believe the message is home. As long as it depends on you, live peaceably with everybody. Ensure that you have as many people as possible that can invite their celebration party. As long as it depends on me, I will live peaceably with everybody. I am not bragging, but I love the number of invites I receive to parties. If I obliged to all, I would never fast all year round, hahaha.
